The ask
US-based energy provider OATI were preparing to launch their new Genie AI product at DTECH, a major industry event, and needed an animated explainer to show how it works. The goal was to engage their audience quickly and demonstrate the platform’s innovative features in a simple, visual way, while also explaining how the platform works in more detail.
Our approach
We worked with OATI from concept through to final delivery – developing a clear, benefits-led script and storyboard that turned a complex product into an easy-to-follow story.
Drawing on OATI’s bright colour palette and graphic brand elements, we created a visually engaging 3.5 minute explainer animation. The animation focused on real-world use cases, showing how Genie AI can simplify energy management and drive efficiency.
The outcome
The finished animation launched alongside OATI’s new brand and website, delivering a consistent and cohesive visual identity.
At the DTECH event, the explainer became a standout element on their stand, providing a clear, engaging way to introduce Genie AI to new audiences. It has since become a key asset for ongoing marketing activity and sales conversations, helping OATI showcase Genie AI with clarity and impact, and giving their team a confident, repeatable way to explain a complex product in just a few minutes.
