The Red Show | Vodafone

The ask

Vodafone’s creative team approached the Nicely Done team to create show titles for a new show that they were producing, The Red Show. 

Along with a shiny new 15-second show title sequence, we needed to produce a show graphics package of a kit of parts, which meant we needed to design transitions, lower thirds and an end board for the show. 

‘The Red Show’ is a studio-based ‘magazine style’ format designed to be a hub for the Vodafone Group’s quarterly stories and updates. 

The studio show aims to ensure that Vodafone staff members are informed and entertained about all Vodafone matters, from new campaigns, case studies, staff stories and future strategies.  

 

The approach

Our creative ambition was to build a dynamic 3D Vodafone ‘world’ within these show titles, where we use the iconic Vodafone ‘speech mark’ logo as our climactic reveal at the end of the animation.

In building ‘The Red Show’ animation,  we incorporated Vodafone-related event footage in the devices to illustrate the importance of the Vodafone staff members and the crucial roles they play within the Vodafone community.

Bringing the animation to life, our animators used glossy textures, sharp reflections and colour accents to create a signature look and feel with the onus on the human, philanthropic side of the company.

The outcome

Our Nicely Done team worked hard to produce show titles that had a vibrancy and a contemporary flair that matched Vodafone’s new and ambitious show.

The final animation package was very well received by the clients and became an integral asset to launching ‘The Red Show’ for Vodafone.

The average watch time of the live event was an incredible 82% of the total run time of the show

8,913 live views makes this the most viewed Vodafone live event in recent events. 

+36% increase in views compared to MdV’s results videos. Performance above benchmark
